Start by locating the mod files in your Workshop directory.
If for whatever reason, you ruin your mod installation during this process, don’t worry Your save files are completely separate from the mod files and deleting and re-installing the mod should fix any problems you may have caused without any loss of progress – assuming of course your save files are from the most up-to-date version of the mod itself. This guide assumes you’ve subscribed to the mod(s) in question and have allowed it/them to download and update prior to following the steps in this guide. However, if you intend to poke around in the mod files and make little tweaks (such as adding custom battle scenes, custom music, custom banners etc.), it behooves you to divorce the mod files from the Workshop feature so that they don’t automatically update and wipe out your changes. Why should you care? Well, in most cases there’s no reason to mess with your workshop mods.
